Evidence Lane terms and conditions

These terms govern access to and private evaluation of the Evidence Lane source, documentation, website, packages, and generated evidence. They supplement the repository LICENSE.md, Copyright, SECURITY.md, and third-party notices; they do not replace them.

Permitted use

Access permits only the use expressly authorized by the owner for evaluation, private collaboration, or testing. It does not grant permission to publish, redistribute, sublicense, commercialize, create derivative releases, or expose private project material. Additional rights require a separate written agreement from Praveen Rathee.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for lawful source access, source rights, secret handling, security review, downstream decisions, account charges, and compliance with third-party terms. Evidence Lane must not be used to bypass access controls or to represent candidate material as accepted truth.

Human authority

Generated candidates, classifications, summaries, plans, topologies, and receipts may be incomplete or wrong and require review. No website visit, tool call, conversation, test, CI run, preview, installation, or deployment is human acceptance. Only the exact governed HIL decision bound to the displayed candidate may change its lifecycle state.

Availability and limitation

Evidence Lane is provided for governed evaluation without a warranty of accuracy, fitness, availability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. It does not replace legal advice, security testing, operational monitoring, or human architecture judgment. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from use of the project.

Third-party rights

Third-party software, services, models, assets, trademarks, and dependencies remain subject to their own licenses and terms. Evidence Lane grants no rights over them. See plugins/evidence-lane-plugin/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md.

Changes and termination

The owner may revise these terms for later releases. A new version does not rewrite the terms attached to immutable historical evidence. Access may be withdrawn when use exceeds its authorized scope; withdrawal does not transfer or erase ownership rights.
